AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, social mission organization that empowers people aged 50 or above, with a membership of nearly 38 million. They launched Life Reimagined (LR) as a lifestyle content platform designed to help middle-aged professionals improve their health, work and relationships.  Despite a large library of content, traffic had been disappointing, and they came to CB/I to invegorate the site.
Refocusing Content 
We created a content discovery strategy that re-optimized LifeReimagined’s vast library of long-form content, making edits to match the assets with user search intent while maintaining each author’s writing style.  We also identified in-demand search topics which assisted the Life-Reimagined content team when developing new topics to feature on the site
Advanced Technical Fixes
We also applied advanced on-page SEO to LifeReimagined’s complex site structure to cover all popular high-volume search topics.  We then fixed technical crawling & indexing problems and on-page SEO errors that hindered search engines from indexing and ranking the website properly
Significant Growth in Traffic
Our content re-optimization strategy reached 2000+ pieces of long-form content and our overall strategy generated great results. Monthly traffic of Life Reimagined increased +50% - 250% Y-o-Y and increased SEO organic traffic +56% in 2016 vs. 2015.
